Apprentice Hair Stylist/Assistant | Aube Hair

We’re looking for a part-time apprentice/assistant to join our Grey Lynn salon as our superstar junior is unfortunately moving away. These hours have the potential to become full-time at a later date, but will remain within Tuesday to Saturday. This role requires Saturday shifts and some late nights.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES SOME EXPERIENCE IN A SALON ENVIRONMENT.

Aube Hair is a growing community and education space for anyone interested in the art and science of undeniably great hair; prioritising skin care values being applied to the hair and scalp.

We’re proud to offer Auckland’s most recognised and authentic Japanese Head Spa, as well as being the first in New Zealand to import our specialised equipment, treatment basins and top quality products.

Ongoing education is a huge priority for us, regardless of experience. We believe in artistic freedom, trying new things and empowering our staff to constantly excel and reach their personal and creative goals. As both individuals and a team, we are interested in occasional competitions and editorial work as well as our daily roles on the floor.

Our ideal candidate has been working in a salon for at least 6-12 months and is eager to apply themselves to challenges ahead. We’re looking for a confident, sociable person who’s comfortable with our wide range of clientele and managing a range of responsibilities. We’re looking for someone passionate, punctual and reliable.
