Our client is a Specialist Appearance Medicine Practice located in Cambridge. They have a reputation for thoughtful, ethical care and results that are natural and refined. They are now looking for an experienced Skin and Beauty Therapist to join the team and be part of something a little different!
About the role …
This is a dual-focus position combining beauty therapy with administrative support. Starting hours are up to 16 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase your hours over time.
This is a newly created role where communication and flexibility is paramount as we shape the role together.
Key aspects of the role include:
– Delivering a range of skin therapy treatments to the existing client base
– Delivering a range of high-quality beauty therapy services which compliment medical aesthetic services
– Supporting the practice with administration tasks (appointments, client communications, general admin support)
– Share responsibility for the on-call phone (approximately one weekend a month)
About you …
This role will suit a Skin and Beauty Therapist with a high level of knowledge around skin health and rejuvenation and product ingredient knowledge. You will be professional and have the confidence to represent a premium, values-led practice.
You will:
– Take pride in ensuring high standards, discretion, and ethical practice
– Have a calm, reassuring manner and value long-term client relationships
– Bring a polished, confident and professional approach
– Have a strong knowledge of skin health and skincare and appropriate product choice
– Be willing to help with administration tasks as required and feel comfortable switching between client-facing and admin work
– Be motivated to continue developing professionally
– Enjoy flexibility of hours and understand the needs of a busy client-focused practice and a new position
– Have an interest in social media
