We spoke to Arber our Barber Expo Winner Arber about his experience at Expo4Barber’s in Gold Coast.

Tell us about your experience at Expo4Barbers?
My time at Expo4Barbers was an incredible experience from start to finish. Over the three days, I had the opportunity to connect with other barbers from across the industry, watch live demonstrations, explore new tools and products, and really immerse myself in the barbering culture at a high level.
What did you get up to across the 3 days at the Expo?
Each day had its own highlight. The first day was the most intense and exciting, as it was focused on the barber battle. Taking part in the barber battle was a proud moment for me — it pushed me outside my comfort zone and gave me the chance to represent my work on a bigger stage. The competition was strong, and the energy in the room was unreal. Overall, it went really well, and I was proud of what I produced under pressure.
The second day stood out with the live stage work and education sessions, where I picked up valuable techniques and insights from some of the best in the industry. The third day was more about networking, connecting with other barbers, and taking everything in — seeing the level of talent and creativity across the industry.

What was the highlight?
One of the biggest things I took away from the Expo was how important it is to keep evolving — whether that’s refining technique, improving presentation, or staying up to date with trends. It also reinforced the value of networking and being part of a wider barbering community.
Anything you’d like to share about the experience? Would you recommend other barbers attend the event?
I’d also like to give a big thank you to HITO for making this experience possible. They covered the tickets, flights, and accommodation for both myself and Jesse, and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity.
Overall, it was a very inspiring experience, and I would definitely recommend other barbers to attend. It’s a great way to grow, get motivated, and see what’s possible in the industry.
